Legitimate Interests: We collect specific data (such as IP address and IMVU Avatar Name) to prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect our intellectual property from unauthorised redistribution.

Purpose: To provide products or services to you to fulfil our contract, to process your payment information, arrange for delivery (digital), and provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations.

IMVU Licence Data: Examples: IMVU Catalog ID (CID) and Avatar Name. Purpose: To register your specific user licence for our 3D assets, ensuring compliance with our Terms of Service and preventing unauthorised use or piracy.

Judge.me: A US-based review platform. Judge.me utilises Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure your data is protected to UK standards.

In each case, appropriate safeguards are in place to ensure your personal information receives an equivalent level of protection to that required under UK GDPR.


5. Data Retention

General Order Data: When you place an order through the Site, we will retain your personal information for a period of 6 years to comply with UK tax laws (HMRC requirements).

Licence Records: We retain records of your IMVU Catalog ID and purchased licences for the duration of the licence period and for a further period of 6 years thereafter, to validate your right to use the software and to defend any legal claims arising from the licence.

  • Correct your personal information if it is inaccurate.
